PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGE Cameron Sinclair, Co-founder and Executive Director of Architecture for Humanity, will speak about sustainable building in post-disaster reconstruction as part of WIRED NextFest. Architecture for Humanity seeks architectural solutions to humanitarian crises and brings design services to communities in need. Most recently, he has been addressing the long-term needs of the survivors of Hurricane Katrina and the South Asian earthquake.
Mr. Sinclair will sign his book Design Like You Give A Damn following the lecture. WIRED NextFest is an event featuring innovations in communication, design, entertainment, exploration, health, transportation, green and security. Over 100 exciting exhibits from scientists, researchers and inventors around the world will be on display at the Jacob Javits Center from September 28 through October 1, 2006.
