Library/ID Card
All students taking courses for credit are eligible for a student photo ID card. Other students are eligible for a student ID if registered in a course meeting at least six (6) sessions. ID pictures are taken by the University Registration Office upon presentation of the student's current semester schedule. Students who wish to use the New School Libraries must have a currently valid New School ID card. These libraries include the Adam & Sophie Gimbel Design Library at Parsons, the Raymond Fogelman Library at the New School and the Harry Scherman Library at the Mannes College of Music. Degree students may also borrow books from the Cooper Union Library, the New York School of Interior Design Library and New York University's Bobst Library. Parsons students who want to use these resources should go to the Gimbel Library and be registered in the on-line computer system.
