Transfer Entry
Transfer students receive credit for college courses completed elsewhere that are similar in content, purpose and standards to those offered at Parsons. In order for credit to be granted, transfer applicants must submit official transcripts of all college study to Parsons. A grade of C or better must have been earned in any course under consideration for transfer. To determine the year-level for which you will apply, and before proceeding to the Portfolio and Home Exam instructions below, please review these criteria.
In order to be considered for transfer-level entry, you must have the indicated studio and critical studies coursework (as outlined in the departmental curriculum charts). If you do not have the appropriate credits, you will be considered as a freshman transfer, regardless of your previous college experience.
