Transfer students will receive credit for those courses taken at other institutions similar in content, purpose and standards to those offered at Parsons. For credit to be granted, official transcripts of all college study must be presented and a grade of C or better must have been obtained. The courses must have been taken at an institution accredited by the appropriate state or regional accrediting association or the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and completed no more than ten years before the date of admission. Students must earn a minimum of 34 studio credits in residence at Parsons. This represents roughly half of the credits required for the AAS degree.
