Application Procedure

To apply for the AAS degree program on-line, click here.

1. Complete the online application form.
2. Official Transcripts: Provide official copies of your high school and/or college transcripts. Applicants who have successfully completed at least 26 college credits are not required to submit high school transcripts.
3. All applicants with international transcripts are required to submit an original transcript, a certified English language translation, and a Course-by-Course Evaluation Report with their supporting materials. These course-by-course reports are prepared by World Education Services (www.wes.org), our preferred provider, or another member of the National Association of Credit Evaluation Services (NACES). We recommend that you start the evaluation process, including submission of all required documents to WES (or another provider), as early as possible, in order to ensure the timely completion of your evaluation report. Request that your report be sent to Parsons The New School for Design, University Admissions, 79 Fifth Avenue, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10003. (If you apply online, search for “New School Parsons" when requesting our institution.) If another provider is unable to send the report directly to the school, please collect and send the evaluation report along with a Materials Cover Sheet.
4. TOEFL: Students whose native language is not English must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Minimum score required: 550 written, 213 computer-based, or 79 internet-based. Minimum score required for Fashion Marketing Online applicants: 600 written, 250 computer-based, or 100 internet-based. 5. Statement of Intent: Upload a one-page Statement of Intent describing the events and ideas that led to your interest in this major. Please note that this must be included when you submit your online application.
6. Home Exam: A Home Exam is required as it is an essential advising tool. Please complete the assignment below for the program to which you are applying.
7. Fashion Marketing students who plan to complete their degree entirely online must have a prior undergraduate degree or sufficient undergraduate credits to fulfill the AAS degree requirement of 21 credits in humanities, including six credits of English.  Download the Fashion Marketing Online Factsheet below for more information about the Fashion Marketing Online program.
