PARSONS PARENTS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

The Parsons Parents Leadership Council is an ongoing effort to raise unrestricted support for the school’s highest priorities. Unrestricted gifts provide a flexible source of income used to address students’ immediate needs. Parsons students, as engaged citizens, outstanding designers, and future business leaders, rely on first-rate resources to pursue their distinctive paths. Annual fund gifts make several educational opportunities possible that help to define the Parsons experience.

Leadership gifts from parents support:
    • Competitive scholarships
    • Curricular revision, development, and implementation
    • Recruiting and retaining world-class faculty
    • New design facilities, labs, and technology upgrades
    • Socially conscious projects and internships
By making a leadership gift to the annual fund, parents are also recognized as members of the Frank Alvah Parsons Society.

Leadership giving is an especially meaningful way to demonstrate support for the school and to invest in the future value of a Parsons degree. The generous parents who participate at the leadership level set an example for other parents, alumni, and friends.

In addition to making a leadership gift, Council members make a difference by hosting regional events, serving as a vital link between families and the school, and helping to raise support for the annual fund.
